Hiểu và Thương's mission is to inspire and empower people to make positive changes to their lives. Our stories celebrate the achievements of everyday heroes and the community activities for our people betterment. Given the historical and societal factors impacting the Viet community inside and outside America, we recognize a unique and growing need of connections among our members. That recognition gives birth to this publication. Originally written in Vietnamese, the newsletters, when delivered, have a function within the email to translate into English. You can enjoy them in both languages. Join us even if you're not Vietnamese or speak it.

We promote a meditation - based peaceful lifestyle with no differentiation of religions. Our goal is to cultivate understanding and loving by sharing knowledge and inspirational stories that may help lead to inner peace, joy, happiness and world harmony amidst this chaotic modern society. There are two entities of different heights from two separate worlds with different colors. However, fundamentally, they still share many similarities. Both holding hands in harmony create a common home as a result of Understanding and Love, and a united world with red windows symbolizing hope and happiness is born. In terms of design, they form the letter H, representing "Hiểu," the first letter of the weekly newsletter. This logo reflects the mission of the weekly newsletter, and we hope it resonates with your aspirations as well.
We believe in love and peace, and the best place to nurture them is within ourselves in a loving shelter which we call NHÀ, the Viet dream to our refugee and immigrant community. We're committed to providing helpful info to the solutions related to the housing issues our people are facing, especially in California and America.
